In the dense rainforest of Guyana lives Slotty, a rare pale-throated sloth. After heavy rainfall, her tree collapses, sending Slotty crashing to the ground – injured and helpless. For a sloth, this can be a life-threatening situation.
But there is hope: the experienced indigenous wildlife carer Luana takes the weakened animal into her care. Slotty presents her with a unique challenge: pale-throated sloths have a highly specialised diet and feed only on the leaves of certain tree species. Will Luana manage to find enough food to save Slotty from starvation?
